The BEE business unit at MailUp Group grew so much over the last couple of years that it required a full-time CEO, and since I’ve been involved with this cool project since the beginning, I was happy & excited to take on the role. The BEE editor is now used by hundreds of thousands of people every month in hundreds of SaaS applications that have embedded it, or directly online at beefree.io. BEE is a truly product-first, product-led company, so the perfect place for a product enthusiast like me. And I will continue to work with my colleagues at MailUp Group as a product strategist at the Group level. More to come!
Prior to MailUp, I co-founded and was CEO for many years at Early Impact, which developed a small business shopping cart system – ProductCart – and a recurring billing system – SubscriptionBridge. There too, I was a product owner more than a business development type of CEO. Early Impact’s ecommerce software still powers thousands of online stores around the world. ProductCart and SubscriptionBridge were sold in 2013 to two separate buyers.
